DIY - upcycled hooks

DIY – upcycled hooks

If you hate regular , ugly plastic , aluminium or iron wall mounted hooks, here is  your treat !!

1. Looking for a weekend up-cycling  project , here’s the one. Be it clothes or keys or anything, a eco-friendly solution.

2. Start by gathering  wood pieces or strong twigs in the shape of hooks, from your garden or any park near your area.
You can make search interesting by incorporating a game for your kids or a group. Have a small morning walk treasure hunt.

3. Shape it appropriately and and fine it as per your need, you can keep it raw or varnish it , depends completely on you.

4. Be creative and try different things , remove bark to get whitish color , polish it , keep it plain , whatever suits you.

5. Framing wood can be found anywhere in your dump yard or your neighbor’s, i don’t think India is short in old windows and doors frames, you      usually find them lying around as waste.

6. some nails , wood saw , fevicol (optional) ,  hammer, and a will to do is all you need.
